Siva is a big picture person. An integrationist. A pattern seer.
As a UN Social Affairs Officer and working globally with private clients for over 10 years, Dr. Siva realized that even educated, active people are missing the basics of wellness. Across cultures and continents, we are leading lives set up for chronic disease and discontentment.
Siva's mission is to teach people to feel again; to be able to hear what their bodies and hearts are guiding them to shift.
With an MD, and background in behavior change and education, Siva presents an empowering East-West Mind-Body version of Ayurveda. She guides her audience to build self-awareness, emotional wellness, and clean life energetics. Her book, courses, and content can be found at ayurvedabysiva.com. https://members.ayurvedabysiva.com/
Siva is the author of Ayurveda for Teachers and Students: https://www.amazon.com/Ayurveda-Yoga-Teachers-Students-Bringing-ebook/dp/B07P6DXWTG
An excerpt from the book:
Vata overview
Kapha is water, earth, a still, stable, growing, attached, protective, grounded, fertile, heavy, slow, cool, oily, damp, smooth, soft, static, viscous, creating kind of energy. It’s the energy of the womb, moist earth, and springtime.
Pitta is fire, a doing, producing, efficient, cutting to the core, sharp, confident, clear, logical, hot, light, oily, pungent, sour, spreading, working kind of energy. As fire digests wood into light and heat, Pitta is an energy that breaks things down, and turns them into what is needed.
Vata is ether, air, a moving, changing, cold, reactive, unattached, light kind of energy. Like the wind, dry, light, subtle, clear, mobile, dispersing, astringent, bitter, ever moving, and unpredictable. Like the wind, it’s stimulating, but depleting. The wind erodes mountains.
